TV-reporter Dean Miller (Mel Ferrer) is sent to cover an alarming topic: an accident has happened at a nuclear power plant and an important scientist on the case is about to arrive at the airport. With Miller's camera rolling, the doors of the airplane open to unleash a horde of bloodthirsty ghouls! Armed with knives, axes and machine guns they invade the city of Madrid, which results in a massacre of epic proportions. Miller tries to to excape with his wife but the radioactive monsters, who spread their disease like wildfire, appear to be everywhere.
