This chilling tale of madness and grotesque murder focuses on the macabre happenings at the Hope Center 1, a scientific research center established to develop synthetic nourishment. A freak accident unleashes a deadly cloud of toxic gas that kills the center's inhabitants then resurrects them as cannibals who prey on the living.
A special military squad is sent to investigate rumors of the strange occurrences. Horrified at their findings, they watch a ghastly group of zombies tear apart an entire village, then turn to continue their search for human flesh. It seems hopeless, an unstoppable flood of desturction, as the zombies move slowly, unrelentingly toward civilization.
